Our experience with dinner at Cioppino last evening was outstanding! The entrees were something that far exceeded expectations and a description doesn’t do them justice. I had the Chilean Sea Bass Oscar which was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. My son had the Short Ribs which were so tender, no knife was necessary. He commented they were the best he has had…and he’s had a lot. The calamari appetizer and salads must be tried. Even though we had a to-go bag, we shared the Tarte Tatin for dessert. It is not what normally you expect but the apples, pastry, and fresh whipped cream were out of this world. No to-go bag for that! Thank you to Jeff who took wonderful care of our dining experience so we understood the selections and thoroughly enjoyed them without being rushed. And the Manager, Raj, is very friendly and is very present with the diners. I would request Jeff’s section for his knowledge and service. A very very good experience and I/we are looking forward to the next dinner there!

As always never disappoints. This is the 3rd time I’ve been here and every time it is hands down amazing. Good food and great staff. Could not be happier.

Cioppino is one of the finest restaurants in the Pittsburgh area and I would recommend it to anyone looking to class up their evening. The atmosphere is not pretentious like other fine-dining establishments, but you are still seated in elegance and will enjoy your time. I have never had a single bad meal here and the wait staff and cooks will ensure that your meal goes according to your preference. My wife and I celebrated our wedding night here just the two of us and we recently came back for our first anniversary, even a year later, the quality and professionalism have not faltered one bit.

Highly recommend!!! This was my first time here for our holiday party. The food speaks for itself on how amazing it is, and the kitchen staff should be rewarded, not only on the taste of the food, but the ability to provide 80+ people with warm food at the same time for four courses deserves so much recognition. Secondly, the staff from all areas; valet, bar(s), dining room, runners, management and front desk/coat check was phenomenal. Each staff member was on top of their services, and it made the night so much more enjoyable. I would recommend for any size party or just a night out!

I planned my mother in law's 60th birthday party at Cioppino this past Saturday and boy was it a hit! We had the party in the bar area (it was a Yellowstone theme, the TV show) and the space was absolutely gorgeous. The bar area is beautiful and the glass walls allow for a beautiful backdrop of the Pittsburgh skyline to any night out, especially a private event. The staff was incredible. They worked diligently to ensure the room was set up for an event of 75 people, candles, table cloths and always made sure people were not waiting long for drinks (either at the bar or personalized service throughout the room). The food was incredible too-I'm still receiving texts from guests that it was some of the best food/desserts they've ever had. I worked very closely with their event coordinator, Kim and she was so accommodating and so lovely. Honestly, the professionalism around the party was so appreciated and it made for a night we will never forget. I HIGHLY recommend this place for an event or for dinner! My husband and I went in for dinner before the party for some "recon" and it was again, delicious. Kim even sent over complimentary glasses of champagne! I love Cioppino-staff, ambiance, food, drinks-ALL of it! THANK YOU!!
